In my more than 16 years with Body Wise, I have been able to help people get healthier, accumulate a tremendous part-time income and earn phenomenal trips. I decided to start a Body Wise business because of the unmatched quality of the products and it was so easy to share them with others. Plus, I could do it part time on my own time schedule. Equally important was the outstanding, ongoing support that the company provided.

Today, Debbie and Jim Powers live on the beach in St. Augustine, Florida, retired from teaching careers at age 55, able to put their children through college debt-free, and travel to exotic destinations. Introduced to Body Wise in 1992, they already had active lives and significant professional accomplishments. Jim taught special education, making a difference in the lives of hundreds of children with disabilities. Debbie was a Professor of Fitness, Health, and Wellness at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, in addition to being head women's basketball coach at Ball State and a co-author of three college textbooks on health and wellness.

"My entire professional career has been focused on nutrition, wellness, fitness, athletics, and preventive health," says Debbie. One of the qualities that attracted them to Body Wise was the fact that it manufactures in an FDA-licensed facility. That’s a rarity in the nutritional supplement industry, and means Body Wise follows the strictest criteria for purity, potency, and testing. After personally experiencing tremendous health benefits on the products, Debbie and Jim started their children on them. Their son trained on the products as a college track and cross country athlete and became a two-time All-American distance runner for Indiana University.

"While somewhat skeptical and ignorant about the benefits of network marketing when we began, we were eager to share these products with everyone we knew and to new people we met," says Jim.
